The Inclusive Education Department at BPS, under the guidance of the Principal and Governors, is dedicated to the accurate identification and support of students of determination, which includes students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), medical disabilities, and those who are gifted and talented (G&T).
BPS ensures that appropriate and relevant adaptations are made within the school environment to meet the diverse needs of every learner. In addition, the school offers enrichment programs specifically designed to enhance the skills and unlock the potential of students of determination. These programs include:
Social Skill Intervention Programs
The Social Skills Intervention Programme was designed to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in developing core interpersonal and emotional skills essential for success in both academic and social environments. The intervention used structured group activities, Group games, Team building activities and learning tailored to individual student profiles
Heartfulness - UAE School Connect Programs
The program is designed to be culturally inclusive and appropriate for learners from diverse backgrounds, making it suitable for international settings. Each session is thoughtfully planned, taking into account the environment in which the activities take place, the time available, and the interests of the students. The lessons are age-appropriate, practical, and activity-based, fostering high levels of student engagement.
Interactive in nature, the sessions promote discovery, discussion, and the sharing of experiences. Teachers act as facilitators, guiding students in their learning journey rather than delivering traditional instruction. A wide variety of learning modalities and resources are used to support different learning styles and ensure that all students can participate meaningfully.
Every session includes structured components such as Breathing Exercises, Making Connections, Observing Feelings, Heartfulness Relaxation, and Peaceful Suggestions, supporting students’ emotional well-being alongside cognitive development.
